My Favorite Manhattan

For two libations, because you should always drink with a friend.

• 8 oz Bulliet rye

• 1 oz sweet vermouth

• 1 oz orange liquer (like Patron Citronage)

• 6 dashes of Peychad Bitters

• 6 small spoonfuls of cherry juice (Luxardo or Amarena Fabbri)

• 4-6 dark cherries (Luxardo or Amarena Fabbri)

Place 2-3 cherries in two low ball glass.

Mix ingredients in cocktail mixer with ice, stir, vigorously at first to incorporate the ingredients, then smoothly to make the drink cold, about 50 turns.

Strain into low ball glasses, with or without ice.  Enjoy!
